Kawakawa Bay Residence

The clients brief for their new home, was that of a sophisticated beach house feel on a budget. The exterior was kept simple and timeless.

The clients have a love of colour, orange and green being the favourites, an extensive art collection, and were all must includes in the overall finished interior design of the home.

I love a budget, … it challenges us to think outside the square, and this is where great design comes into play.

Our starting point were the gorgeous dark stained cork floors, and honed marble bench tops.

A studio was added during the build to create air b n b income as the owners neared retirement. My design brief, was create a calm welcoming haven.
